I had my iodine spot and loading test done here. The spot iodine test determines the amount of iodine in your body as determined by first morning urine sample. I highly recommend you take the two tests as the loading test will now determine how much iodine you keep in your body. You take 50 mg of iodine and then collect urine for a 24 hour period. The lab will determine your iodine levels based on these two tests. As I do not have a family physician, Dr. Flechas did a consultation with me based on the test results which was included in the price. Prices were $119.50 for the two tests, the 50 mg of iodine, all courier charges, and the consultation with Dr. Flechas.
